1st Corinthians 16:1-2   Paul told the church at Corinth, "Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come."

All the blessings of this life come from God... we should be grateful that we can show our love for Him by returning a portion of our income to secure and promote the work of the church here on earth.
